Varsity Volleyball Takes 2nd Place at the Panther Challenge

On Saturday the Bears opened up the Panther Challenge against the host school Presentation High School. The Bears pounced the Panthers winning 25-9 and 25-17. In the second game the took down Leigh 25-14, 25-20. In the final game of pool play they beat Capuchino 25-18, 25-16. Setting up a Championship round against Redwood High School. Mercy lost 13-25, 17-25. Coaches highlighted strong performances from Lana Trehan '25 and Clare O'Brien '25 in setting and defense. Amira Festejo-Rivera '25 in serve receive defense, Mia Ferdinand '25 in blocking and kills and Isis Ordaz '25 for overall consistent play.
