Bear Necessities Volume 1

This past week I attended the CCS regional meeting at the San Mateo Office of Education, It is always informative and inspiring way to start the school year. Ron Nocetti, the CIF Executive Director kicked off the meeting and his message resonated with my own goals for our own athletics program. Aligning the CIF's mission of "Belong, Connect, and Compete" with our theme of belonging in Mercy Athletics was powerful. I always say there is a home for everyone in Mercy Athletics and I truly believe that. We are committed to creating opportunities for all athletes, whether they come with club experience or are new to sports. By forming development teams when needed and focusing on growth and skill development, we are not only enhancing individual athlete experiences but also building a stronger, more inclusive program overall. All athletics programs are an extension of the classroom and I believe our athletes and coaches are living the Mercy Mission each time they set foot in the gym, field, tennis courts, and pools this fall. I look forward to supporting and growing all of  programs this year.
